The Richland Waves Summer Swim Team was formed in 1993. We take part in the Gwinnett County Summer Swim League which has approximately 6000 swimmers and is the largest swim league in the United States. Our team typically consists of 100 -120 swimmers, ranging from 4-18 years old.

Our practices and home meets are conducted at the Richland Community Pool in Suwanee, GA.

The season runs from May to July each year with 4 dual meets and 1 practice meet. Practices are held Monday thru Friday between 8am and 11am per age group. Swim meets are generally held on Thursday evenings. The season concludes with a Gwinnett County Meet in which swimmers must qualify and is held at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.
